Saxophonist Timo Lassy and drummer Teppo Mäkynen are known as the leading figures of the new Finnish jazz generation that emerged in the early 2000s. Over the years they have worked together in many acclaimed ensembles such as Teddy Rok 7, The Five Corners Quintet, Jo Stance and Timo Lassy Band. Now these top musicians perform with a saxophone-drums duo. Their live performance is versatile and exciting, varying from spiritual free improvisation to tight grooves - and everything in between.
