The concert celebrates guitarist/composer Mikko Iivanainen's new solo album Lullaby For Lost Souls. The compositions are performed on both acoustic and electric guitar. Iivanainen also uses a lower-pitched baritone guitar and a looper in some electronic songs.

Bass & Voice – Antti Lötjönen and Sanni Orasmaa perform. An explosive encounter between two virtuosos in the jazz landscape.
Bass player, jazz musician Antti Lötjönen has been at the forefront of the Finnish jazz scene for more than 20 years. Performance experience has been accumulated in more than 30 countries. Antti’s playing can be heard on more than 100 jazz recordings, e.g. as a member of Ilmiliekki Quartet, Verneri Pohjola Quartet, Aki Rissanen Trio, Mikko Innanen Autonomus, Timo Lassy Band, 3TM. In 2015, Antti was chosen as Pori Jazz’s Artist of the Year and in 2018 as Jazz Musician of the Year from the Jazz Musicians Association. Lötjönen is part of Hietsu is Happening! – a collective that was awarded the National Music Award 2021. He leads his own band “Antti Lötjönen Quintet East”.
Singer and jazz musician Sanni Orasmaa, who travels between Helsinki and Germany, is one of the pioneers of vocal jazz and jazz pedagogy in Finland. The vocalist, known for her versatility and improvisational ability, has collaborated closely in Finland, e.g. with RinneRadio and Mika Pohjola, foreign names include Ron McClure and Charlie Hunter. Orasmaa has lived in New York from 2000-2007 and has made a career in clubs and festivals on three continents. As a teacher, she has worked with domestic educational institutions, besides at the jazz department of the Brooklyn Conservatory and as a guest at several foreign universities. Since 2008, Orasmaa has worked as a vocal lecturer at the jazz department of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
