Jukka Perko, who received the Pro Finlandia medal in 2020 and has just started as one of the artistic directors of Oulu Music Festival, takes on the works of his idol saxophonist Charlie "Bird" Parker (1920-1955), one of the greatest influences in the history of jazz.

In the TTT-Klubi concert, Jukka Perko's long-honed view of the jazz tradition receives both support and counterbalance from the enthusiasm and energy of the younger generation. With his young musician friends, Perko approaches his idol Charlie Parker's tunes from the turn of the 1930s and 1940s and the direction of the swing.
