Tenor saxophonist/composer Melissa Aldana visits G Livelab Tampere in October with her stellar quartet. Born in Santiago, Chile and currently based in New York, Aldana was the first South American musician to win the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition in 2013. Alana's latest album Visions was released in 2019 and found her drawing inspiration from the work of painter Frida Kahlo.
