Award-winning bassist and composer Linda Oh has in the last ten years become one of the most followed jazz musicians internationally. Born in Malaysia, raised in Western Australia, and now living and working in New York City, she has shared the stage with the likes of Joe Lovano, Vijay Iyeri and Kenny Barron, and is a member of the Pat Metheny Quartet. In 2019 she released her fifth album Aventure, which innovatively combines modern composition and improvisation with string and vocal ensemble textures.

Oh arrives at G Livelab with her pianist and husband Fabian Almazan. They are two of the most creative musicians of their generation. The concert will also be streamed via G Livelab Tampere websites and G Livelab application. Streaming has 7 days on-demand rights.
