In the Kangasala Hall, the nuanced music of the versatile musician-composer Timo Alakotila will be heard on Friday, October 1, 2021. It is performed by the young professional band Sointi Jazz Orchestra. There will be a musical journey by a large orchestra that will hold its grip from the first minutes to the last chord.

Sointi Jazz Orchestra is conducted by its founder and artistic director Rasmus Soini. The concert will feature a multi-part Sinfonia Concertante composed for big band and accordion, with accordionist Kaisa Ristiluoma as soloist. In addition, the band will perform a production composed by Alakotila for the big band and a completely new work commissioned for Sointi Jazz Orchestra.
