Eero Raittinen, one of the grand old men of Finnish music, joins forces with mod jazz quintet Hustle Fuzz on a tour that celebrates Raittinen's 1970 debut, Eeron Elpee. This unique tour is a smooth continuation of Raittinen and the up-and-coming group's earlier collaborative concerts, and brings the classic rarity disc to the 2010s with a bang.

Two-day mini-festival Validi Karkia Jazz Konvention brings two superb groups to perform new material from their newly-released albums to Pori on 24 and 25 November. A flagship of Nordic noir, Oddarrang, founded by drummer Olavi Louhivuori, released their fourth album Agartha on the British label Edition Records. Behind their inimitable, airy sound are the likes of cellist Osmo Ikonen and trombonist Ilmari Pohjola. Jazz guitarist Tuomas Paukku is an alumni of the Royal Music Academy of Stockholm and he now presents his new group along his debut album. The new quartet, Tuomas Paukku Scription, falls into the category of modern jazz impressionism and represents the vanguard of the rising generation of Finnish jazzers.
