Seven years in the making, an album by guitarist-composer and multi-instrumentalist Rantamäki is finally ready for release. The album and also the concert include guitar-led jazz rock, ECM style, clear mood-filled numbers and ethnic vibes.

UMO's third lunch concert this autumn season fits the pre-Christmas time perfectly. On the menu will be, among other pieces, a no doubt memorable version Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. UMO will play Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn's take on the classic ballet, recorded in 1960. We will be in for Shakespearean treats too, as the programme includes pieces from the 1957 composition series Such Sweet Thunder.
The concert kicks off at noon. No entry fee.
