Liila Sival Quartet is an ensemble led by producer-singer Liila Sival. The band's unique sound consists of Sival's expressive singing and Finland's jazz scene's young greats' playing. The music is flaming with color, flowing from one emotion to another and enriched with electronic elements. Sival's compositions and modern jazz arrangements all melt into one story, taking us on a trip through a forest and telling us a tale of love. Genre-wise the music could be described as some kind of a mix between jazz, avant garde and R&B, but lyrics are what leads the way. Although the story stays the same, it gets a different shape in every concert – every night truly is one-of-a-kind. Liila Sival is a jazz singer, electronic music producer and songwriter who has studied in Helsinki's Sibelius Academy and Los Angeles USC. Liila Sival Quartet is playing songs from their upcoming album debut. The players are known from ensembles such as Peela and OK:KO.
