Saxophonist Joonatan Rautio has had a long and successful career in the field of Finnish jazz music. Rautio has been awarded the Finnish Jazz Association's Yrjö award in 2010 and the Pori Jazz Artist of the Year recognition in 2001. He has collaborated with e.g. Jim Beard, Randy Brecker, Jon Balke, Jukkis Uotila, Anders Jormin and UMO Jazz Orchestra, and led several of his own ensembles. Rautio also teaches at the Sibelius Academy.
