Joona Toivanen Trio celebrates the release of their long-awaited Both Only album with tour, which brings the band to Logomo on Friday, March 25.

The improvising Joona Toivanen Trio has always been restrained and minimalistic in its expression. The new Both Only album boldly takes the sound of the trio in an electronic and abstract direction. The album is an ensemble created during a four-day studio session, in which the compositions, sounds and structures were created sequestered in a Gothenburg studio. Both on the record and live, the world of jazz, cinematic music and electronic ambient moves hypnotically in trio's sound.
