The female choir Naiskuoro KYN, founded in 1981, has always taken an ambitious and creative approach to music.
Led by Kaija Viitasalo, KYN has aimed to renew the choir scene and break down musical barriers. The Jubilee Concert KYN 35 presents the choir's diverse repertoire of folk songs, jazz and ethnic jazz, with music by Jukka Linkola and Anna-Mari Kähärä among others. Concert includes musicians who have cooperated with KYN: Johanna Försti, Mikko Hassinen, Mirja Mäkelä, Jukka Perko, Annaliisa Pillak and The Polytech Choir.

A jazz evening with international week guests Martin Granum (DEN) and William Stravato (ITA). The two guitarist perform with Metropolia staff and students.
1. The Melodic Grooves from the Nordic Region
Music and arrangements by Martin Granum. His personal style is melodic,
jazzy, nordic and groovy. Tomi Salesvuo from Metropolia and a selected group
of students will form the band this evening with singer/vocal teacher
