Trumpeter/singer/keyboard player/composer Mikko Pettinen´s Happy People Combo is an energetic band that combines elements of soul, funk, jazz, pop and gospel in it´s original music, which is composed by Mikko Pettinen. Happy People Combo has plenty of space for improvisation and for intimate interaction between the players.

Mikko Pettinen organized a studiolive session with Happy People in late 2015. 8 new tunes were recorded and shooted on video in front of a 30-piece studio audience. The first video from the sessions ”Happy People Theme (Everybody Get Up)” was released on YouTube on December 2015. The video became a hit at the social media: It got more than 3000 views in a month and has received hundreads of highly respected reviews.

Panurama is a club night hosted by acclaimed vibraphonist Panu Savolainen. In March he is is joined by keyboardist Aki Rissanen, known among other things for his work with trumpet player Verneri Pohjola.
