Jazz Finland Live

A fascinatingly cross-genre performance which is a combination of silent film, a narrated storyline and piano music.

The performance bases on sounds from British artist Leighton Richard Phoenix's fifth studio album.
Silent films run in the background while Phoenix plays the piano and tells in English the story of a man who explores his past during his last moments on Earth.
As some of the stories and short films are daring, the performance is not recommended for children under 13 years of age.

Turku Jazz Orchestra and saxofonist Timo Lassy offer elegant jazz and soul music at Börs Night Club. In addition to Lassy's original pieces, thee programme consists of classics by the likes of Stanley Turrentine and King Curtis.

Expect irresistable energy but not without the saxophonist's trademark cool classiness.
