Sointi Jazz Orchestra is an 18-member band known for their personal sound and renewal of the big band tradition. SJO’s clubs offer a comprehensive overview of the world of new big band music, along with visiting composers and soloists.

Matti Johannes Koivu is one of the strongest singer-songwriters in Finland. He is known as an artist who does not hesitate to bring his feelings to music. Koivu originally became known to the general public about the cover versions he made of the songs performed by Irwin Goodman. There are nuances of e.g. folk and beat music in Koivu's music, and at Kapsäkki the audience will hear for the first time how his songs can be shaped in the hands of a large jazz orchestra. Matti Johannes Koivu is passionate about live performances: “The endurance of music is weighed in front of a live audience.
