Raoul Björkenheim Quintet play Always but Never, a surrealistic suite! Always but Never was originally commissioned as a sound work for the Emma Museum surrealist exhibition of 2018 entitled No Ordinary Moments. The music composed by Raoul Björkenheim is full of playful but deadly serious elements which are juxtaposed for maximum surprise and paradoxical effect. The quintet features the always amazing Juhani Aaltonen on saxophone, the young talented Tomi Nikku on trumpet, the very dynamic rhythm section of Antti Lötjönen on bass and Tatu Rönkkö on drums, with Raoul Björkenheim on all guitars.

Atmosfärg Jazz Quartet will release its album Radical Skies, the songs of which were recorded in late 2019. The band will play a concert in the Roihuvuori restaurant Hard Rock House, which has become an important part of Helsinki's live music scene.

In Aurinkomäki's open-air concert, the gypsy jazz band Hot Club Lakeus and Anna Inginmaa Quartet

Hot Club Lakeus play the traditional Gypsy swing as interpreted by two guitars, accordion and double bass. In addition to traditional swing jazz, the program also includes Gypsy bass, bolero and waltz. Accordion master Antti Purola also stylishly interprets some tango and waltz themes in the style of Richard Galliano.

Anna Inginmaa's music is Finnish-language, lyrical vocal jazz, which combines sensitivity, raw and soulful interpretation and the joint musical synergy of the ensemble. The repertoire includes Inginmaa's compositions with original texts, as well as Seppo Kantonen's compositions with Timo Kiiskinen's lyrics.
