Emma Salokoski & Jarmo Saari Duo

Strong but sweet singer Emma Salokoski has won her spurs as an interpreter of jazz, bossa nova and musicals but has also widened her expression towards elegant pop music. At the TTT-Klubi Emma Salokoski and guitarist Jarmo Saari perform selected pieces of her repertoire from the course of Salokoski’s career. Both Emma’s own compositions and songs she has recorder with different projects are heard at the concert. Jarmo Saari’s inimitable play style leaves its own mark on the pieces and lifts the arrangements to a new level.
Show at 10pm, doors open at 9.30pm.

Julkinen Sana

The crowd-pleasing Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana makes their long-awaited comeback to concert halls this October. The grand ensemble of jazz and hip hop celebrates their third album with nine-concert tour covering six cities.
“Since the first album, the music of this ensemble has been the search of new directions. On this upcoming album we challenge ourselves and the audience with more modern style than before. There are more electronic sounds, electric drum tracks and sub-bass frequencies and strong contrasts from minimalistic trap beat to massive brass avalanche ”, Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen states.
The ensemble has released two albums Burnaa (2013) and Korottaa Panoksii (2015) both with very good reviews and the band has reached audience from sold-out concert halls to music festivals. Their third album Pidä valot päällä is set to release on 28th of September.
