Different Moments – Music of Joe Davidow featuring Seppo 'Paroni' Paakkunainen, with Jone Takamäki, Uffe Krokfors, Tom Nekljudow & special guests This is the release concert of a CD/LP on Svart Records entitled "Different Moments" - which is a collection of many years work of my music's with Paroni Paakkunainen. The pieces that we will play on this evening and that are also on the album, are re-creations of many, many hours of material for various projects, all music's that we could call creative improvisational expressions. For this concert the musicians re-presenting these Different Moments are Paroni Paakkunainen and Jone Takamäki on various saxophones, Joe Davidow on piano, Uffe Krokfors on bass and Tom Nekljudow on drums. In many Mikko Innanen’s band the music is played tongue-in-cheek but always with integrity. One of the most respected saxophonists of Finnish jazz, Innanen does things in his own way, which has led him to the stages of alternative jazz clubs’ in various world metropolises. Innanen was awarded the Jazz Finland’s Yrjö prize in 2008.
Showtime at 7pm, doors open at 6pm.
