Jazz Finland Live

This concert ventures to the cool musical landscapes of the West Coast of the USA. The orchestra plays music from prominent West Coast jazz arrangers, Marty Paich and Bill Holman. The soloist is alto saxophonist Max Zenger, himself from the Finnish west coast town of Turku.

Metropolia Big Band performs some of the best-loved Finnish schlager and jazz numbers as a part of the centennial celebrations of Finland's independence. We will hear music from the 1930s until today in fresh big band  arrangements.
