Tuomo Prättälä moves open-mindedly in different styles of rhythm music. Initially, he became known as the keyboardist of the band Quintessence. Since then, he has offered first-class Finnish soul music in his solo career. Prättälä is the chameleon of music, for he seems at home with various styles of music. Whether it's funk, soul, free jazz or more pop-styled bossa nova, Prättälä's success is guaranteed.

Three albums meeting a positive reception, have come out as solo projects. My Thing, published in 2007, won the Emma Award in the Hip hop, dance, and R&B album of the year category in 2008. The same year, Prättälä was nominated in the Male Soloist of the Year category. My own Private Sunday, Prättälä's third album under the stage name of "Tuomo", was published in 2010.

With Tuomo, the stage will be taken by the flexible, distinctive SaloJazz House Band, embodying the groove of soul perfectly. Its musicians are known for their cooperation with multiple domestic and international artists as well as their own ensembles.

The Jussi Fredriksson Trio's internationally praised new album, Archipelago Sea Tales (2021), tells barren but beautiful stories about the most beautiful archipelago in the world. During the Covid 19 pandemic, pianist Jussi Fredriksson wrote a new repertoire for the trio. He searched for inspiration from touching themes - from the romance of the archipelago to the natural disaster of the Archipelago Sea. Jussi Fredriksson is a versatile pianist and drummer in several ensembles and is a significant part of the JazzCityTurku organisation.
