In the spring of 2022, the We Jazz record company releases Joona Toivanen Trio's new and highly anticipated album Both Only. Album was created during a four-day studio session, in which songs, sounds and structures were created in the depths of a studio in Gothenburg. The acoustic trio playing mixes with subtle electronic elements, and Both Only is a kind of new line drawing compared to the trio's previous production. Joona Toivanen Trio's previous album XX won the Teosto Award, and with the new album the trio boldly takes their expression in a new direction.
