In May, the brilliant Jyväskylä-based pianist Samuli Mikkonen will be heard as a guest soloist of Jazz Jkl Collective. The Collective and Mikkonen offer an uplifting atmospheric journey to the sound of the ECM label, interpreting classics recorded e.g. by the ensembles of Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Jan Garbarek, Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie.
