Tenho Restobar wil start its monthly jazz jams! Until the end of the year, every last Sunday of the month will be a jazz jam night with a houseband performing the first hour (19-20) and a jam following until 22!

First night’s houseband will be Tanhu Quintet.

Darryl Jones, one of the world's most respected bassists arrives in Pori at the Validi Karkia club with the new jazz group Jazz/Takes. The perfomance in Pori is the group's only concert in Finland. Tthe line-up includes saxophonist Bill Evans, who played with Miles Davis for years. Behind the drum kit sits one of the world's most recorded drummers, Harvey Mason, whose credits include Björk, Duke Ellington, James Brown and Earth, Wind & Fire. The group is completed by Danish Niels Lan Doky, who has been part of the elite of European jazz pianists for over 30 years.
