Jazz Finland Live

Warm - that is the adjective that first comes to mind when Johanna Iivanainen opens her mouth. Her stunning voice always rings softly and captivatingly irrespective of whether she is fronting a big band or performing in an intimte club setting. Her performance will never leave you cold. 

This is the third time for Iivanainen to appear in the TTT concert series, and now she will be accompanied by the virtuosic vibraphonist Panu Savolainen and her spouse, guitarist Mikko Iivanainen. The setlist will comprise a mix of originals and jazz standards. Johanna Iivanainen Trio's first live appearance took place at the Finnish National Theatre's the Lavaklubi. 

Iivanainen has received a number of acknowledgements, including the Louis Armstrong Prize and the Sony Jazz Prize, and collaborated with the likes of UMO Jazz Orchestra, Turku Jazz Orchestra, Jukka Perko, Eero Koivistoinen, Antti Sarpila, Riku Niemi Orchestra and various symphony orchestras.
