Kadi Vija Key Project and Ingibjörg Turchi Band will perform at G Livelab Tampere on 22nd of September. The concert will be held as part of the Nordic Jazz Comets Tour.

The fresh and innovative Key Project is a new band born around singer Kadi Vija, whose unusual instrumentation creates special soundscapes. In her compositions, Vija has been influenced by modern jazz, film music and small everyday phenomena.

Bassist-composer Ingibjörg Turchi has emerged as one of the most significant players in the Icelandic jazz field over the past ten years. He has collaborated with Iceland's most beloved artists across genre boundaries and has worked extensively in a variety of theater and art productions. Since 2017, Ingibjörg has led his own band and released the solo albums Wood / work (2017) and Meliae (2020), the latter of which has been awarded for example with the Kraumur Prize.
