Jazz Finland Live

Dazzling jazz singer Aili Ikonen melted the hearts of the audience with her previous tours at Joensuu and now she is back with fresh material! Ikonen is well-remembered for her albums Tribute to Ella and Jazzbasilli, and the newest Finnish album Laulan  draws from the same sources: the beloved Finnish jazz-schlagers and the Great American Songbook. 

The compositions have mainly bee co-penned by Ikonen and her bassist Mikko Pellinen. In addition to originals, a bunch of loan songs in new Finnish translations will be heard.
