Aleksi Ranta Group
Aleksi Ranta Group was started in 2006 in Oulu. Nowadays based in Helsinki, they released their sophomore, entitled “Where We Belong”, in October 2014. Their classic acoustic line-up coupled with modern and rich compositions has proved a persuasive recipe: the group’s distinctive sound has earned them some international attention.

On the last of July, club series Jazz & Dance features the star dancer Jarkko Lehmus. The multi-award winning Lehmus hasbeen successful in both Finland and abroad, having made a career in the Scottish Ballet and appearing in many stellar choreographers' works. On stage, wearing her dance shoes, also the hostess, Wilma-Emilia Kuosa.
Music will be provided by Tero Saarti Quartet.

Adele Sauros Quartet
Adele Sauros Quartet is a Helsinki-based group, founded in 2012. From moving ballads to vigorous improvisation, different – even polar – atmospheres come together in their individual blend of jazz. The quartet released their debut album in summer 2014, and in the same year they came second in the Young Nordic Jazz Comets competition, with the eponymous leader-composer-arranger being awarded as the best soloist.

Strömma and Theron Catering invite you to enjoy the summer Friday onboard m/s Aava. The table is laid with delicious buffet food and swinging jazz tunes performed by a number of renowned Finnish jazz artists.
Departures every Friday from 3 July to 28 August at 6:00PM from the Market Square behind the Old Market Hall. The ship can be boarded starting from 5:30PM.
