Nordic Trinity

Founded in 2004, Nordic Trinity brings together three artists from three different generations. In addition to originals, the trio plays popular Finnish airs and compositions from Edward Vesala’s repertoire. Nordic Trinity releases their fifth album this year.

Head To Head – Eskola meets Pohjola

Composed of A-listing Finnish jazzers, Head to Head is a newish project led by Eskola and Pohjola that debuted on stage in 2014. A group featuring two trumpets is not something you come across every day, let alone one that refrains from adhering to the familiar battle premise. Head to Head aim for fresher soundscapes, carried by the dialogue between the leading pair.
