Jazz Finland Live

This concert features UMO Jazz Orchestra’s renditions of blues in its different forms. The 16-piece orchestra concentrates on the narration, intonation and mood of blues, which have always been essential parts of jazz music. UMO takes it from the boogie of jump-blues, all the way to delicate blue moods of misery in a programme, which consists of music from composers like Duke Ellington to Kari ”Sonny” Heinilä. The orchestra is led by Jouni Järvelä.
