In addition to its leader saxophonist Sami Leponiemi, bassist Filemon Von Numers' unflinching respect for the quarter note has deservedly confirmed him a place as one of Finland's most sought-after jazz bassists. Drummer Aleksi Heinola has spent almost the entire autumn in the sanctuary of jazz music, New York, and has been the brightest star of swing music in Finland for a long time.
