The Bad Plus are the ultimate originals. Now in their 21st year, The Bad Plus continues to push boundaries as founding members Reid Anderson (bass) and Dave King (drums) embark on a new piano-less incarnation of the band with Ben Monder (guitar) and Chris Speed (tenor saxophone) – instigating a new wave of excitement and anticipation within the band that is re-energizing their sound and inspiration. The beloved US quartet visits G Livelab Helsinki in November and this is an occasion you don't want to miss out on.

Finalist of the renowned contest "Jazz à Vienne", the trio of french guitarist Benoît Moreau explores the expressive possibilities of a humble but flexible formation, stemming from jazz, but also rock, folk and all the music which has used the six strings as a means of expression. Influenced by the sound and spatial approach of Bill Frisell, their human and musical bond is revealed on stage where they bring to life a super sincere writing, catchy melodies and highly unifying music with their first album Rêve Party.

Veera Syrén

Veera Syrén is an artist from Turku who, together with her band, represents the musical fusion of nu soul, jazz and funk. The band is made up of Turku-Helsinki musicians, in whose hands the songs composed and written by the singer get revel in a warm, organic tone.
