The Zenger/Rinta/Kantonen trio is a new ensemble led by a drummer who has settled in Finland from Amsterdam, and performs original compositions composed by each member of the band. The trio's sound is based on the interpretation of traditional swing-based music, colored with modern elements of contemporary jazz.

One of the most respected jazz musicians in the jazz world, multi-Grammy-awarded bassist-composer Dave Holland brings his band Aziza to the Validi Karkia club in Pori.

The quartet, easily classified as a super band, features guitarist Lionel Loueke (Herbie Hancock, Angelique Kidjo), saxophonist Chris Potter (Pat Metheny, Steely Dan) and drummer Eric Harland (McCoy Tyner, Ravi Coltrane). Holland has last performed in Finland at the 2021 Tampere Jazz Happening with John Scofield; the duo's gig in Validi Karkia 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic.
