Simon Zion (SWE), originally from southern Finland, has lived his childhood and youth in northern Sweden. He is known as a versatile musician and songwriter, e.g. in the field of jazz and rock music, and has his own authentic sound in both vocals and guitar playing. In recent years, Zion has focused more on his great passion for jazz and improvisation, and in 2020 he released the album Intrinsic Drive, with which he explores and expands the boundaries of jazz with other musicians.

In 2022, Zion tours Scandinavia with his new band, where he will play e.g. with a few top Finnish musicians - Ville Luukkonen, Tuomo Uusitalo, Teemu Åkerblom and Ukko Heinonen.
