Mama Africa Junior is known for their unique irresistible mix of Afro-Caribbean beats and their unforgettable live performances. Following in the footsteps of the group Mama Africa in Dakar, Senegal, the Finland based little brother band is called Mama Africa Junior. With roots in Dakar's musical inner circles, Mama Africa Jr includes kora, bass, guitar, drum kit, congas, sabar drums and song. Taking you to the dusty roads of Dakar, Mama Africa Jr will nourish your body and soul with steamy African beats based on 100% Senegalese rhythms and sounds! Mama Africa Junior's concert is an expressive, engaging show full of energy and joy. The music is, of course, accompanied by singing and dancing. The dance numbers represent West-African impressive, beautiful and physically demanding choreographies and breath taking individual solos. Welcome to experience this powerful combination of music and dance! Afrojazz Club invites persons or organisations, which reflect the club's values to give open mic talks before showtime, with topics such as equality, diversity, the environment and the peace movement. Tonight´s pre-gig talk is given by Bella Forsgrén from the Green Party about equality.
