Dalindèo is a sextet lead by composer and guitarist Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen. Known as an intense and warm-hearted live act at forefront of the Finnish jazz scene, the group has played over 200 concerts around the world. Their upcoming fifth album “Dark Money” speaks out about the chaotic state the world is in, with market economy defining our values and injustice taking over. Musically the new album follows the path of 1970s fusion jazz of Miles Davis, explosive live energy of Charles Mingus and psychedelic space jazz of Sun Ra, and is close in spirit to the political jazz of the 1960s.
