Jazz Finland Live

Bagland is a quintet consisting of five musicians, who all have their roots based in the scandinavian sound. In March 2020 Bagland will be touring in Finland and will bring their newest release, Cirkel, which has gained critical acclaim:

The music is inspired by the deserted and open nordic landscape. Lyrical and melancholic melodies characterizes the compositions and the sound is clean and fragile with obvious reference to the nordic sound. The debut album was nominated for the Danish Jazz Award and the follow-up NOMAD was a big part of Jakob Sørensen winning the title "Danish Jazz Artist of the Year 2017". Besides that Bagland represents some of the most interesting and notable musicians on the danish jazz scene just now.
