Darmon Meader and Deborah Brown (USA), vocals & Band

The jazz music department of the Sibelius Academy of Uniarts Helsinki and the International Jazz Voice Conference bring two internationally acknowledged American jazz singers to the Music Centre: Darmon Meader from New York Voices and the wonderful Deborah Brown from Kansas City. A Finnish ensemble accompanies them at the evening gala concert of the conference, with a separate set for both performers’ own repertoire.
