19.00: Antti Lötjönen Quintet East
Antti Lötjönen, one of Finland’s most prominent jazz double bass players for more than a decade, brings his reformed East ensemble to norDIG. This is the first quintet incarnation of East, as sax player Mikko Innanen joins the other prominent jazz musicians in the band. A musical exploration light on composition and heavy on improvisation is in order, with some surprises thrown in.

At norDIG., Winther performs in a trio including bass player Johnny Åman and drummer Anders Mogensen, with Finnish jazz luminary Timo Lassy on sax as guest star.
