Kendrick Scott is an alumnus of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and within a short space of time has worked with distinguished jazz performers such as Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Joe Lovano, Kenny Garrett and Dianne Reeves. Kendrick released his first album with his band Oracle in 2007.

The record will feature Viinikainen's new group entitled III, which features Mikael Myrskog (Rhodes/Moog) and Joonas Riippa (drums).
