Lahden Jazztori Festival presents Sointi Jazz Orchestra on the opening evening! The ticket admits also to the concert of Ajaton (on Wed 14 September).

Sointi Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece big band, formed by young professional musicians. Founded in 2013, SJO have already established themselves as one of the most promising voices in the Finnish big band scene for their nuanced sound and for the band leader Soini's compositions that draw ingredients from a range of musical traditions. Expect skilful improvisation, cinematic atmospheres and surprising arrangements -- a fully-fledged musical journey.
