Come and taste the music that blends the sounds of southern Spain into the Finnish landscape. You do not want to miss the unique warmth of the flamenco jazz evenings at Tenho.

The evening is hosted by the musicians of the acoustic ensemble Cuejero, led by the Spanish artist Javier Sanchez.

One of America's finest jazz guitarist John Stowell (USA) and the Ostrobothnia based musicians Martin Söderbacka and Eevalotta Matikainen meet for the second time this fall.

The concert includes guitar trio versions of the members' own compositions, interpretations of selected jazz standards and even some pieces with Stowell's solo guitar playing. In the trio's music, traditional and modern jazz guitarism meet in an interplay that lives and breathes in the moment. John, Martin and Eevalotta build a smooth joint sound and form interesting harmony layers with the help of two jazz guitars, double bass and effect pedals. Welcome to relax and enjoy beautiful music, cheerful moments and good company.

John Stowell's (b.1950) piano-like way of playing the guitar and his personal harmonic approach to improvisation create the basis for a unique musical experience. The respected American jazz guitarist is also a sought-after teacher and often performs solo or as a duo with other musicians worldwide. During his long career, Stowell has released over 20 albums as a band leader. Stowell has worked and recorded with many of our favorite jazz artists such as Milt Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Art Farmer, Billy Higgins, Billy Hart, Conte Condoli, Herb Ellis, Bill Watrous, Mundell Lowe, George Cables, Richie Cole, Paul Horn, Tom Harrrell, Don Thompson, Dave Liebman and many others.
