Antila/Mäkynen/Tuuri trio is a trio of top musicians who play swinging music with a lively atmosphere. The trio consists of players from the younger generation, Mikko Antila and Joonas Tuuri, and one of Finland's most famous jazz drummers, Teppo Mäkynen. From the first notes played together it was clear that the trio would continue making music in the future. The feeling of eloquent and relaxed improvisation combined with classic songs creates a really intimate and engaging atmosphere.

The Flame Jazz Summer Live concert series consists of current names in the Finnish jazz scene and talented ensembles. The concerts are free of charge and are held every Wednesday from 8 May to 14 August 2024 in a cosy park atmosphere in Turku's Cathedral Park Terrace.
