Lassi Friman Trio performs Lassi Friman's own compositions and arrangements of jazz standards. Over the years, the band's sound has been shaped seamlessly through active playing together, giving space to the playing and vision of all members. Style examples are e.g. Jim Hall, Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett trios.

With his compositions, Friman strives to draw a story from the jazz tradition through a personal vision, and to create an inspiring platform for playing together and improvisation between the members.
