TangOulu
TangOulu is a tango-nuevo quintet of professional musicians from Oulu, founded in 2022. The band's repertoire consists of Astor Piazzolla's most essential compositions including the biggest hits.
Fierce tango-nuevo is rarely heard played live nearby the Arctic circle. TangOulu was founded – not only out of love and passion for tango – but also to fill the gap in tango nuevo interpreted by professionals in the Oulu region and more widely in Northern Finland.
The summer Jumpru x OMJ Jazzpatio will take place 13.6.–17.8.2023 and is organized in cooperation with the Oulu Music Festival, Jumpru Pub and the Finnish Music Promotion Foundation. During summer 2023, there will be a total of 10 concerts at the Jazzpatio.
