Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen Nonet feat. Antti Sarpila

The second act is performed by the Antti Sarpila quintet. They play Pöyhönen composition book “Tigers are better looking”. The work is based on Jean Rhys writings and her most famous novel "Wide Sargasso Sea". Musical inspiration for Pöyhönen comes from his old favorites by Krzysztof Komeda and Charles Mingus.

Berghäll-Kalima-Ikonen

The trio released their debut album in June 2018. Composer-saxophonist Berghäll's four-piece series tells a deeply moving story of ever-changing life in the Arctic. The mini-tour is a rare opportunity to experience this Nordic experience and these acclaimed musicians on stage together.
