Makaya McCraven

The Chicago-based drummer Makaya McCraven made a big impact with his debut album "In the Moment". The LP uses some 40 hours of jam session recordings as source material and presents a jazz vision which is very much happening in the present tense. The quintet gig at G Livelab is the eagerly-awaited Helsinki debut for McCraven.
