The first edition of Tenho Sunday Jazz Club sees Kalevi Louhivuori Trio, formed by the eponymous trumpeter, bassist Eero Seppä and drummer Joonas Leppänen, take to the stage.
We will be in for two sets of originals and jazz standards.

Validi Karkia concert series kicks off 2017 with a bang! The first edition of the year sees two interesting groups take to the stage on 8 January. Rieko Okuda is a Japanese pianist and composer hand she will be introducing her trio The Fungs at the concert. The line-up consists of Finns drummer Janne Tuomi and bassist Antti Virmaranta and a special guest from Turku; guitarist Topias Tiheäsalo. Guitarist Ángel Ontalva, in turn, leads a quintet of some of Finland's finest free jazz musicians: reedsman Jorma Tapio, saxophonist Sami Sippola, bassist Ville Rauhala and the aforementioned drummer Janne Tuomi.
