Brad Mehldau is without a doubt one of the most prominent jazz pianists of his generation. He has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and the readers of the jazz bible DownBeat have voted him first seven times in the best pianist category.

Solo concerts all across the world have been praised by critics and fans alike. The appearances at Turku's Sigyn Hall on Friday 12 February and Espoo's Sello Hall on Saturday 13 February will be the first solo concerts that Mehldau gives in Finland.
