Zander made its debut in 2010 in Belgium at the final of prestigious Hoeilaart Jazz competition impressing the jury immediately with its exuberant and intense performance. Originally a traditional acoustic jazz trio, output of Zander has evolved lately towards more electrical expression.

5th of February 2016 debut album of Zander, The Sound of Rewinding (c-cassette + download code for digital album) is released at April Jazz Club. The album is a fine example of creativity and open-mindedness this energetic trio produces. The members of Zander are well-known from numerous top bands of Finnish jazz scene, as well as other genres.
