Battle of Bands: Hot Swing Dance Club Put on your dancing shoes and get your kicks at Korjaamo! Enjoy the hot swing dance served to you by our fantastic big bands with unique styles. It's also a battle of bands to find out the master of the legendary swing tunes. The vote is on for the night. You decide! Our big dance floor welcomes you with or without a dance partner. But you can also just come to listen to the music and enjoy refreshments from the bar. Welcome!

Helsinki Heat club series at Point Bar presents trio Takamäki-Krokfors-Heikinheimo. Sax player Jone Takamäki and bassist Uffe Krokfors are both known as exceptional artists in the sphere of free improv., so when these gentlemen join the host, Heikinheimo, we can safely expect something colourful, soulful and unique. Indeed, the trio has promised us a ride of entirely improvised material.

The spring programme of Jazzkerho - 76 reaches its grand finale with great international guests.
Saxophone player Marc Bernstein (b. 1961) hails from New York. He graduated from the renowned Berklee College of Music and has played and recorded with such artists as Hal Halper and Billy Hart. Self-taught French guitar virtuoso Marc Ducret (b. 1957) is an experienced musician in a wide variety of genres. He has toured the world widely, played with most modern French jazzers and recorded around 20 solo albums.
